RETURN AND EXCHANGE POLICY
 
  • Items must be in original selling condition (new, unused, unwashed and unaltered) and in its original packaging with tags attached to be considered for return.
  • Items can only be returned within 7 days of you receiving the dress. For Online Purchases your 7 days start from when you receive the dress ( we know from the tracking number when the dress was delivered). If you fail to ship the dress back within the 7-day period, or fail to provide the return tracking number within these 7 days, you will be charged a 50% late fee.
  • In-Store Purchases are a Final Sale.
  • Do note that a 15% Restocking fee is deducted for all return requests when purchased online.
  • We do not accept any returns or exchanges on sale and clearance items.
 
WHAT DOES A 7-DAY RETURN MEAN?
 
What it means is that our Returns Team should get a tracking number within the 7-Day period. This is for us to know that the item you want to return is on its way back to our warehouse. If we do not get this confirmation within 7 days, we would not be able to process your return. In this case, please enjoy the dress. Or ask our Returns Team when will we start our "Re-Sell your Dress" Division.
 
WHAT IS A RESTOCKING FEE?
 
Special occasion dresses are usually made to order and our team diligently works with our suppliers to procure the dress for you. We do not profit from the re-stocking fee, this is the fee that our supplier charges us and its part of our contract. You can choose among the following return options:
 
  • Return with Refund (15% Restocking fee)
  • Exchange (No Restocking fee), exchange can be done only once. Once exchanged, your transaction is a final sale

Example: If you buy a dress worth $100, a 15% restocking fee would mean that we would keep $15 and in case of this return (provided this is within the 7 day return policy), you will receive $85 back in your account.

HOW DO I SUBMIT THE RETURN REQUEST?
 
WHAT IF I RETURN THE DRESS AFTER THE 7-DAY PERIOD?
Your order becomes a FINAL SALE. There would be NO REFUNDS in this case and the dress will be shipped back to you.
 
WHAT IF I WANT TO EXCHANGE A DRESS FOR A DIFFERENT SIZE OR A COLOR?
Sure, within the 7-day period from you receiving the dress.
 
WHAT IS I WANT TO EXCHANGE A DRESS FOR A DIFFERENT STYLE?
You can exchange it within the 7 day period provided the returned dress is in pristine and original condition.
 
WHAT IF I EXCHANGE FOR A DRESS OR AN ITEM FOR A LESSER VALUE?
Provided this is a first exchange, you will be charged an additional 15% on the price difference.
 
WHAT HAPPENS IF I ALREADY EXCHANGED ONCE?
After you exchanged it once, your dress becomes a final sale. In this case, a 7-day policy will not be applicable.
 
CAN I PRINT THE SHIPPING LABEL? WHO PAYS FOR THE SHIPPING LABEL?
Our team will assist you with the shipping label once you submit the return request. You won't be charged for creating a shipping label but the following fees will be deducted.
 
 
WHERE IS MY TRACKING NUMBER? WHERE IS MY ORDER / DRESS(ES)?
When your dress is shipped, the tracking number is added to your order and an email is sent at the email address you gave to us when you ordered the dress. Our team also keeps a track of all tracking numbers processed at our end. Please note that once your dress leaves our warehouse, marlasfashions.com is not responsible for the loss of your dress. It is then between you and the shipping carrier. Please make sure that you pick up your dress when its dropped at your doorstep, at the concierge or at the PO box in case that was delivery address.
