If your measurements fall between sizes, choose the larger size and have a tailor take in the waist — a boned corset bodice responds well to that kind of adjustment and it is a straightforward alteration.

Fabric & Detail

The base fabric is tulle — lightweight and structured enough to hold the mermaid shape cleanly without adding bulk around the hips or hem. Across the skirt and continuing up onto the bodice, 3D floral-lace appliqués are placed individually, giving the surface real dimension and texture rather than a flat print. The appliqués catch and scatter light differently from allover sequin or embroidery, creating depth that reads well both up close and across a room. The boning runs in vertical channels down the corset bodice and is clearly visible at the back, framing the back opening on each side of the spine.
