portia-and-scarlett-xo344
Portia and Scarlett XO344 Halter V-Neck Lace Corset Fitted Gown with Train

About the Dress: Portia and Scarlett XO344

The Portia and Scarlett XO344 is a long fitted halter gown built for prom or pageant wear. The bodice is covered in a floral lace appliqué overlay with structured boning underneath, giving it a corset-style fit. A keyhole V-cutout sits at the center of the halter neckline. The back is fully open from the shoulder blades to the waist. The skirt is smooth and high-sheen, fitted tight through the hips, and finishes with a sweep train. A front center slit runs high, adding movement when walking.

Fit & Silhouette

XO344 is cut to follow the body closely through the bust, waist, and hips — this is a fitted, sleek silhouette, not a ballgown or A-line. The boning in the bodice holds the shape firmly so the dress stays in place even with the open back. The high-slit skirt is snug through the upper leg, then opens as you move. The sweep train trails behind at the floor. If you are between sizes, size up — the boning and lace bodice do not have much give. This gown photographs well and moves dramatically on stage or on a dance floor.

Fabric & Detail

The base of the Portia and Scarlett XO344 is a stretch jersey with a high-sheen finish on the skirt. The entire bodice is layered with a floral lace and appliqué overlay that sits over the boning channels. The lace coverage extends across the majority of the bodice surface. Ruching detail at the hip and waist transition adds texture and definition at the midriff. The sweep train is cut from the same smooth skirt fabric. The open back is completely bare — no illusion panel, no mesh insert. This construction is intentional and is the defining detail of the silhouette.

Key Features

Halter neckline with center-front keyhole V-cutout

Structured corset bodice with visible boning channels

Floral lace appliqué overlay across the full bodice

Fully open back from shoulder blades to waist

High front slit for ease of movement

Ruching at the hip and waist area

Sweep train

Stretch jersey skirt with high-sheen finish

Sleeveless; no straps other than the halter ties at the neck

Style & Occasion

The Portia and Scarlett XO344 is designed for prom and pageant stages — settings where a dramatic, fully-embellished gown with an open back and bold slit reads exactly right. The corset bodice and lace overlay give it the substance of a show gown, while the sleek skirt keeps the silhouette sharp. It is available in Lilac, Pink, Yellow, and Black. Lilac photographs with a soft lavender tone; Pink is a warm rose; Yellow is a bright warm gold-yellow. Black is listed but not yet photographed — reach out to our team for fabric swatches or color reference before ordering. Pair with a strappy heeled sandal to let the train sit correctly at the floor and to keep the proportion clean.

Portia and Scarlett
00 /
