portia-and-scarlett-ps27526e
Portia and Scarlett PS27526E Off-Shoulder Mermaid Gown with Floral Cape

About the Dress: Portia and Scarlett PS27526E

Portia and Scarlett PS27526E is a long off-shoulder sweetheart mermaid gown with a floor-length tulle cape. The gown features a beaded sweetheart neckline, a skirt blanketed in 3D floral appliqués and beadwork from hip to hem, and a trailing finish that reads as full red-carpet drama. Available in Black, Burgundy, and Blue.

Fit & Silhouette

PS27526E follows a true mermaid silhouette: the bodice and skirt fit close through the bust, waist, and hips, then flare out below the knee into a sweeping hemline with a slight train. There is no slit. The structure holds the figure firmly while the flared hem and attached cape give the full look serious volume and movement. The fit runs fitted through the torso, so ordering your exact measurements is the right call — size up one if you are between sizes.

Fabric & Detail

The dress body is built on a structured stretch jersey base that gives the mermaid silhouette its shape and support. The skirt transitions into a layer of appliquéd lace and floral mesh, with 3D floral pieces and beadwork covering the hip-to-hem area. The cape is made from floor-length tulle that attaches at the shoulders and flows dramatically behind and beside the gown. Together the lace appliqués, beading, and tulle cape give Portia and Scarlett PS27526E its over-the-top embellished look.

Key Features

Off-shoulder sweetheart neckline with beaded edge

True mermaid silhouette — no slit

3D floral appliqués and beading across the skirt from hip to hem

Dramatic floor-length tulle cape attached at the shoulders

Slight train at the hem

Structured stretch jersey base for support and shape retention

Available in Black, Burgundy, and Blue

Style & Occasion

Portia and Scarlett PS27526E is built for moments that call for a full statement entrance. It is a natural fit for prom, formal dances, pageants, black-tie galas, and evening events where over-the-top embellishment is exactly right. The cape makes it especially photogenic — it photographs beautifully from every angle and creates real movement on the dance floor. Blue reads as a bold, jewel-toned choice; Black is sleek and high-contrast; Burgundy is rich and deeply romantic. Pair with a strappy heeled sandal to keep the focus on the gown, and keep jewelry minimal — the floral detail and beading do the work. Have our concierge walk you through the current delivery calendar before you order — evening gowns in this collection move quickly once award season invitations go out, and we want yours fitted with weeks to spare.

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0744/9541/files/portia-and-scarlett-ps27526e-blue-01-prom-dresses-marlas-fashions.jpg?v=1793906426
