portia-and-scarlett-ps27413c
Portia and Scarlett PS27413C High-Neck V-Plunge Beaded Fitted Gown

About the Dress: Portia and Scarlett PS27413C

Portia and Scarlett PS27413C is a floor-length, fully beaded fitted gown with one of the most distinctive necklines in the collection. A high mandarin-style stand collar frames the neck and rises to a clean edge, while a deep center-front V plunge drops through the collar to the chest — a dual neckline that looks both covered and dramatically open at the same time. The gown is covered top to bottom in beading with 3D floral appliqués scattered across the bodice and skirt, and a center-front high slit runs from the hem toward the thigh. PS27413C is available in Gold/Aqua, Gold/Red, and Navy/Gold.

Fit & Silhouette

PS27413C is a fitted, bodycon silhouette that follows the body from the collar all the way to the floor. There is no flare, no A-line skirt, and no volume — just a close, contoured line through the bust, waist, and hips. The gown sweeps into a short train at the back. The center-front high slit provides movement and makes it easier to walk. If you are between sizes, size up to preserve the fitted line rather than restrict movement. The back is fully open, so an exact fit through the torso matters more than it would in a structured gown.

Fabric & Detail

The base of the gown is a mesh net foundation, and beading covers the entire surface from the collar to the hem — there is no unembellished section on this dress. On top of the all-over beading, three-dimensional floral appliqués are placed across the bodice and down the skirt, adding sculptural depth to the beaded surface. The floral pieces catch light differently than the surrounding beadwork, creating contrast within the embellishment layer. The combination of mesh base, full bead coverage, and raised florals gives the gown significant weight, structure, and sparkle under event lighting.

Key Features

High mandarin stand collar with deep center-front V plunge

Fully beaded from collar to hem on a mesh base

3D floral appliqués across bodice and skirt

Fitted, bodycon silhouette with a floor-length sweep train

Center-front high slit

Open back

Sleeveless construction

Available in Gold/Aqua, Gold/Red, and Navy/Gold

Style & Occasion

Portia and Scarlett PS27413C is built for events where full embellishment is expected. It reads as a prom gown and a pageant gown in equal measure — the beading level, the open back, the high slit, and the structural collar are all details associated with top-tier competitive and formal dance events. The three colorways each carry a different energy: Gold/Aqua is bold and tropical, Gold/Red is high-contrast and classic, and Navy/Gold is richer and more traditional. For accessories, keep jewelry minimal — the beading and florals already fill every surface. A strappy heeled sandal in a metallic tone works with any of the three colorways. This gown is a statement piece and works best when it is allowed to lead.

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0744/9541/files/portia-and-scarlett-ps27413c-goldred-01-prom-dresses-marlas-fashions.jpg?v=1793914624
