portia-and-scarlett-ps27403c
Portia and Scarlett PS27403C Sequin V-Neck Fitted Gown with High Slit

About the Dress: Portia and Scarlett PS27403C

Portia and Scarlett PS27403C is a long, fully sequined fitted gown that covers every inch from the neckline down to the sweep train in rectangular mirror-like metallic tiles. The tiles are arranged in horizontal rows across the entire dress — bodice and skirt — creating a high-impact, disco-ball finish that catches light from every angle. This is a statement gown built for an entrance.

Fit & Silhouette

PS27403C is cut to follow the body closely from the shoulders all the way through the hips. It does not have a structured skirt or added volume — the fit is slim and body-conscious throughout. At the hem, the silhouette flares slightly into a sweep train, adding just enough movement. A high front slit opens at the thigh, giving the legs room and adding to the dramatic shape. Thin spaghetti straps sit at the shoulders and hold the deep v-neckline in place.

Fabric & Detail

The base of Portia and Scarlett PS27403C is jersey — a smooth, stretch-friendly fabric that allows the gown to conform to the body without stiffness. The entire outer surface is covered in close-set rectangular sequin tiles with a mirror finish, giving the dress its metallic, fully-beaded look. The coverage runs from the top of the bodice to the hem of the train without any break in embellishment. The back is completely open, framed by the crossing spaghetti straps, and the gown closes with a concealed back zip beneath the open-back design.

Key Features

Fully sequined from neckline to hem — rectangular mirror-tile finish

Deep v-neckline with thin spaghetti straps

Completely open back

High front slit

Fitted through the body with a slight flare and sweep train

Jersey base for stretch and comfort

Available in Silver and Gold

Style & Occasion

Portia and Scarlett PS27403C is built for high-intensity formal events where the dress needs to carry the look on its own. The Silver colorway reads cool and icy under bright lights; the Gold colorway is warmer and richer, leaning toward amber and champagne tones depending on the lighting. Neither color needs much accessorizing — a minimal strappy heel and small clutch are enough. This gown suits prom, formal dance events, pageant competitions, and evening galas. Style it simply: let the sequin surface do the work, keep jewelry minimal, and choose a heel that gives the slit room to move.

Each mirror-sequin panel is stitched to a stretch base, so the gown moves and photographs like liquid metal without stiffness. Keep steam and direct heat away from the sequins; a cool hang after wear is all it needs.

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0744/9541/files/portia-and-scarlett-ps27403c-silver-01-prom-dresses-marlas-fashions.jpg?v=1793750390
