portia-and-scarlett-ps27219
Portia and Scarlett PS27219 Halter V-Neck Metallic Chiffon Fit-and-Flare Gown

About the Dress: Portia and Scarlett PS27219

The Portia and Scarlett PS27219 is a floor-sweeping fit-and-flare gown with a halter v-neckline and a waist-cinching ruched bodice. It is cut from a lightweight metallic chiffon that catches the light as you move, giving the skirt a fluid, luminous quality that photographs beautifully and looks even better in a ballroom or on a dance floor. PS27219 is available in Blue, Champagne, Pink, Lilac, and Yellow — a range broad enough to suit every skin tone and colour theme.

Fit & Silhouette

PS27219 opens with a fitted bodice that drapes and gathers at the waist, then releases into a relaxed fit-and-flare skirt that sweeps the floor with easy movement. The halter v-neck pulls the eye upward and creates a long, clean line through the neck and décolletage. The skirt has enough volume to move freely — you will feel it swirl when you walk or dance, which is exactly the point. The silhouette works across a range of body types: the ruching at the waist draws attention to the narrowest point of the torso, while the flowing skirt through the hips keeps the fit comfortable rather than restrictive.

Fabric & Detail

The gown is made from a lightweight metallic chiffon — a sheer, softly structured fabric woven with fine metallic threads that give it a subtle all-over shimmer without looking heavy or stiff. It drapes beautifully and moves with you rather than against you. The ruching at the waist is gathered into the bodice seam, creating a natural focal point that also does practical work — smoothing and shaping the midsection. The fabric's sheen varies from a soft glow in natural daylight to a more defined sparkle under venue lighting, so the gown reads differently depending on the setting.

Key Features

Halter v-neckline with draped bodice construction

Ruching at the waist/bodice junction for a cinched, flattering fit

Lightweight metallic chiffon fabric with all-over sheen

Floor-length fit-and-flare skirt with fluid movement

Available in Blue, Champagne, Pink, Lilac, and Yellow

Sleeveless cut suitable for warm venues and indoor events

Style & Occasion

The Portia and Scarlett PS27219 is built for prom, formal dances, galas, black-tie events, and formal evening occasions. The metallic chiffon and halter silhouette position it squarely in the formal-evening category — it has enough presence for a grand ballroom entrance but is light enough to dance in all night. Pair it with a strappy heeled sandal in gold, silver, or a colour-matched tone, and keep jewellery minimal: a thin chain and small earrings let the fabric's own shimmer do the work. A delicate clutch in metallic or neutral finishes the look cleanly. For a court or damas group, PS27219 coordinates well in a mixed-colourway lineup — the five colour options mean each member can wear a different shade while the silhouette ties the group together visually. Wedding-guest suitability is under review pending confirmation of the back construction; contact our concierge if you are considering this gown for a wedding event and we will confirm fit for that occasion.

Portia and Scarlett
00 /
