portia-and-scarlett-ps27155
Portia and Scarlett PS27155 Sweetheart Sequin Fitted Gown with Pearl Detail & Sweep Train

About the Dress: Portia and Scarlett PS27155

Portia and Scarlett PS27155 is a long mermaid gown built around a structured strapless sweetheart neckline and a fully boned corset bodice. The silhouette is fitted from the bust all the way through the hips, then flares below the knee into a sweep train. Allover floral lace with a silver sequin surface treatment covers the entire gown from the boned corset bodice to the hem, giving it a consistently embellished, formal look throughout.

Fit & Silhouette

PS27155 follows a true mermaid construction — it holds close through the bust, waist, and hips before releasing into a flared skirt below the knee. There is no slit. The boned corset bodice keeps the bodice structured and supportive, so the dress holds its shape through the evening without slipping. The sweep train adds length at the back without excess volume. This silhouette works best on wearers who want a body-hugging fit with a dramatic skirt opening at the hem.

Fabric & Detail

The base of Portia and Scarlett PS27155 is allover floral lace with a silver sequin and glitter overlay applied across the surface. The lace establishes the pattern and structure; the sequin finish adds shimmer under event lighting. Visible boning channels run through the corset bodice section, sitting under a sheer lace panel at the front. The back is fully open from the shoulders down well past the waistline. A sweep train extends from the hem at the back. Beading detail is present as part of the embellishment layer across the gown.

Key Features

Strapless sweetheart neckline with boned corset bodice

True mermaid silhouette — fitted through hips, flares below the knee

Allover floral lace with silver sequin and glitter surface treatment

Full open back from shoulders to well past the waistline

Sweep train

No slit

Sleeveless construction

Available in Black/Nude, Blue, Blush, Ivory, and Mint

Style & Occasion

Portia and Scarlett PS27155 is built for high-formality events where the dress is meant to make an impression from the moment you walk in. Prom is the natural primary occasion — the mermaid silhouette, open back, and allover sequin lace are exactly what prom dressing calls for. The level of embellishment and the overtly formal construction also make PS27155 a strong choice for pageants, black-tie formal events, and evening galas where full-length gowns are expected. The open back rules out conservative dress codes, so this is a dress for occasions where dramatic styling is the point. It photographs exceptionally well under ballroom and stage lighting due to the sequin surface across the lace. Available colors are Black/Nude, Blue, Blush, Ivory, and Mint — each delivers a different mood, from the classic formality of Ivory to the boldness of Black/Nude or the softness of Blush and Mint.

Portia and Scarlett
00 /
