portia-and-scarlett-ps27143
Portia and Scarlett PS27143 Halter V-Neck Sequin Lace A-Line Gown

About the Dress: Portia and Scarlett PS27143

Portia and Scarlett PS27143 is a long a-line gown built around a deep halter v-neckline, an open back, and a tiered sequin lace skirt that moves with every step. The halter tie rises from an entirely bare back, and cutout panels at both sides of the waist add a bold structural detail finished with a satin bow at center front. This is a dress that leads with confidence and keeps every element intentional.

Fit & Silhouette

PS27143 runs in a structured a-line silhouette. The fitted bodice wraps the torso through the bust and waist, while the skirt opens into a full, floor-length sweep. Portia and Scarlett cut this style to follow standard formal-wear sizing, so measure your bust, waist, and hips and compare against the size chart before ordering — the halter neckline and open back mean there is very little room to let fabric in or out at those points. If you are between sizes, size up and have the waist taken in by a local tailor.

Fabric & Detail

The skirt of Portia and Scarlett PS27143 is constructed in lace with sequin and glitter surface treatment applied in tiered horizontal bands across the full length. The result is a skirt that catches light at every angle without looking heavy. The bodice is smooth and structured, keeping the focus on the open-back cutout construction. The satin bow at the center front waist ties the two halves of the silhouette together cleanly.

Key Features

Deep halter v-neckline with tie closure at the back of the neck

Fully open back — bare from the halter tie down to the waistband

Cutout side-waist panels with satin bow at center front

Tiered sequin lace skirt in horizontal bands

Long a-line silhouette with a full, floor-sweeping skirt

Sleeveless construction

Available in Blue and Pink

Style & Occasion

Portia and Scarlett PS27143 is built for prom, formal dances, evening events, and gala occasions where a dramatic, open-back entrance is the point. The deep v-halter and bare back make this a confident, high-impact choice — pair it with simple drop earrings and a barely-there strappy heel so the dress does the work. The full lace skirt photographs exceptionally well, which makes it a strong pick for any formal event with a photographer on site. Available in Blue and Pink — the Blue colorway reads rich and saturated in person, consistent with how it appears in product photography. The Pink colorway is listed but not yet photographed; contact our team for an accurate color description before ordering in Pink.

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0744/9541/files/portia-and-scarlett-ps27143-blue-01-prom-dresses-marlas-fashions.jpg?v=1793745992
