portia-and-scarlett-ps27122c
Portia and Scarlett PS27122C Fully Beaded Sweetheart Fitted Gown with Train

About the Dress: Portia & Scarlett PS27122C

Portia and Scarlett PS27122C is a fully beaded long fitted gown built for high-glamour occasions. The silhouette is sleek and body-hugging from the sweetheart neckline all the way through the hips, with a high front slit opening the skirt and a small train sweeping at the hem. This is a dress designed to make a statement the moment you walk in.

The neckline is a deep plunging sweetheart — strapless, structured at the bust, and shaped by internal boning that keeps everything in place through the night. Every panel of the dress is covered in a swirling beaded and hot-stone pattern on a mesh base, so the embellishment runs continuously from the bodice straight through to the floor. Three colorways are photographed: Gold, Pink, and Red.

Fit & Silhouette

PS27122C is a fitted, sleek gown. It contours through the bust, waist, and hips without any flare or volume — this is a straight, body-skimming shape. The high front slit adds ease of movement and a dramatic reveal when you walk. The small train adds length at the back without bulk.

Because the dress is fitted through the body, sizing is important. Portia and Scarlett sizing runs standard, and the structured sweetheart bodice with internal boning means the fit around the bust needs to be accurate. If you are between sizes, the Marlas Fashions team recommends sizing up and having the waist taken in by a tailor — that gives you a cleaner final fit than forcing the closure.

Fabric & Detail

The base of PS27122C is mesh. That mesh is covered top-to-bottom — bodice and skirt both — in beading and hot-stone embellishment arranged in a swirling pattern. Because the coverage runs across the full surface of the dress, this qualifies as a fully beaded gown. There is no plain section, no contrast panel, no break in the embellishment.

The structured sweetheart bodice has internal boning that supports the bust and holds the strapless neckline firmly in place. The high slit is at the front of the skirt. The back shows substantial skin — this is an open, high-glamour back. The small train is part of the skirt construction, not a detachable piece.

Key Features

Fully beaded mesh gown — beading and hot-stones cover the entire dress

Strapless sweetheart neckline with deep center plunge

Internal boning for structured bust support

High front slit for ease of movement

Small train at the hemline

Open back for a high-glamour rear profile

Available in Gold, Pink, and Red

Fitted silhouette through bust, waist, and hips

Style & Occasion

Portia and Scarlett PS27122C is built for prom, formal evening events, and pageant competitions. The fully beaded surface, open back, sweetheart neckline, and high front slit combine into a look that reads Miss Universe on the stage or the dance floor. This is not a subtle dress — it is designed to be the focal point of the room.

For prom, it works best in Gold or Red if you want maximum impact, or Pink for a softer but still fully glamorous look. For pageant, all three colorways photograph well under stage lighting because of the hot-stone embellishment. For formal evening events — galas, award shows, high-profile celebrations — the fitted silhouette and train give it a red-carpet presence.

Style it with minimal jewelry since the beading handles all the visual interest. Strappy heeled sandals in metallic gold or silver work across all three color options. The high slit means you can move freely and dance without restriction despite the long fitted length.

Portia and Scarlett PS27122C ships in Gold, Pink, and Red from Marlas Fashions, an authorized Portia and Scarlett retailer.
