portia-and-scarlett-ps27116
Portia and Scarlett PS27116 Sweetheart Sequin Fitted Gown with Sweep Train & Ruched Detail

About the Dress: Portia and Scarlett PS27116

Portia and Scarlett PS27116 is a long strapless fitted gown built for maximum impact. The sweetheart neckline frames the bust cleanly, the fitted silhouette hugs through the waist and hips, and a dramatic front slit and sweep train complete the look. Available in Black, Blue, Pink, Yellow, and Aqua/Gold. Our Toronto stylists fit this style weekly and can advise on sizing and alterations before you order, so reach out any time.

Fit & Silhouette

PS27116 follows a true fitted silhouette: fitted through the bust, waist, and hips, then flaring out at the hem into a small sweep train. Diagonal ruching runs across the bodice into the stomach area, which draws the eye inward and creates a flattering, sculpted waistline. The strapless construction keeps the shoulders bare and the silhouette clean. A front high slit opens the skirt for ease of movement. Portia and Scarlett PS27116 is cut to show off curves from every angle.

Fabric & Detail

The gown is constructed from a lace base with a sequin surface treatment layered across it, giving the dress shimmer that catches light as you move. The lace provides structure and texture underneath while the sequins deliver the sparkle. The Black colorway carries the heaviest embellishment and has a striking, fully covered look. All colorways share the same lace-plus-sequin construction. The back is fully bare — a dramatic open back that sits strapless from neckline to hem with no coverage.

Key Features

Strapless sweetheart neckline

fitted silhouette fitted through hips, flaring at the hem

Lace fabric with sequin overlay

Diagonal ruching across bodice and stomach area

Front high slit

Fully open back

Sweep train

Available in Black, Blue, Pink, Yellow, Aqua/Gold

Style & Occasion

Portia and Scarlett PS27116 is built for high-formality events where you want to make a statement. It is a strong choice for prom, a black-tie gala, a formal evening event, or any occasion where a long embellished gown is expected. The open back and front slit make this a bold, fashion-forward pick rather than a conservative one — it works best when the dress is meant to be the focal point of the night. Style it with minimal jewelry to let the sequin lace surface do the work, or stack fine chains against the open back for contrast. Strappy heeled sandals or metallic pumps both work well with the front slit. The sweep train photographs beautifully, making PS27116 a great choice if you want dramatic full-length shots.

Portia and Scarlett
00 /
