portia-and-scarlett-ps27108
Portia and Scarlett PS27108 Halter V-Neck Fitted Gown with Hot-Stone Bodice

About the Dress: Portia and Scarlett PS27108

Portia and Scarlett PS27108 is a floor-length fitted halter gown built around a hot-stone-embellished structured bodice, a deep plunging V-neckline, and a fully open back. The halter strap ties at the nape, pulling the neckline into a sharp plunge at the front and leaving the entire back bare. A high front slit and a sweeping train complete the silhouette. PS27108 is available in Aqua, Black, Cobalt, Fuchsia, and Red.

Fit & Silhouette

Portia and Scarlett PS27108 is cut to follow the body closely through the bust, waist, and hips — a true fitted, sleek silhouette with no flare until the hem fans into a train. Visible boning channels run through the structured bodice panel, giving the front real support and shape even without a traditional strap. The halter-neck tie anchors everything at the nape. The high front slit opens movement at the leg from mid-thigh down. Most customers find this style runs true to size; if you are between sizes, size up and have the bodice taken in, since letting out a structured corset bodice is more involved than taking it in.

Fabric & Detail

The base fabric is a glossy stretch jersey with a smooth, slightly liquid finish that hugs the body without stiffness. Hot-stone micro-crystal embellishment covers the bodice and upper skirt — concentrated at the front where the eye travels first. The crystals scatter densely across the boning panel and ease off toward the skirt, keeping the silhouette clean from the mid-section down. The train is cut from the same stretch jersey, draping behind the hem with a natural sweep. The open back is completely unobstructed — no mesh, no panel, just bare skin from the halter strap down past the waistline.

Key Features

Deep plunging V-neckline with halter-neck strap tied at the nape

Structured bodice with visible boning channels for built-in support

Hot-stone micro-crystal embellishment on bodice and upper skirt

Fully open back — bare from halter to below the waistline

High front slit for ease of movement

Sweeping train in matching stretch jersey

Fitted, sleek-and-sexy silhouette through bust, waist, and hips

Available in Aqua, Black, Cobalt, Fuchsia, and Red

Style & Occasion

Portia and Scarlett PS27108 is designed for high-impact nights where the dress does the talking. It is a natural fit for prom, especially if you want something that photographs dramatically and stands out on the floor. The fully beaded bodice, plunging neckline, and open back also make it a strong choice for pageant competition, particularly for evening gown rounds where over-the-top glamour is the brief. Pair it with a strappy heeled sandal — the front slit shows the shoe well — and keep jewelry minimal; the hot-stone bodice is already doing the work. A simple drop earring or a thin chain works better than a statement necklace against the open halter. For color: Fuchsia and Red photograph the most boldly and hold up under stage lighting. Aqua and Cobalt are slightly softer in person than they appear on screen — both are vivid but not neon. Black is the most versatile and the easiest to accessorize.
