portia-and-scarlett-ps27088c
Portia and Scarlett PS27088C Fully-Beaded High-Neck Halter Fitted Gown

About the Dress: Portia and Scarlett PS27088C

Portia and Scarlett PS27088C is a fully-beaded, floor-length fitted gown built for maximum impact. It features a high-neck halter construction with a keyhole cutout at the chest, a bodycon fit through the bust, waist, and hips, a pronounced front high-slit, and a flowing train at the hem. Every colorway — Aqua/Multi, Lilac, and Silver/Multi — is covered in allover sequin and beading from top to bottom, making this one of the most embellished gowns in the Portia and Scarlett lineup.

Fit & Silhouette

PS27088C fits close to the body from the shoulders all the way through the hips. The silhouette is fitted and sleek, hugging every curve before releasing into a slight flare at the hem. The front slit adds both movement and drama without breaking the streamlined profile. This gown is cut for a tall frame but tailors beautifully — a skilled seamstress can hem the train without affecting the slit or the beading pattern. Sizing runs true to standard US sizing; if you are between sizes, size up for comfort through the hips and have the waist taken in.

Fabric & Detail

The base of Portia and Scarlett PS27088C is a stretch mesh layer that gives the gown its flexibility and close fit. The entire surface — bodice and skirt — is covered in sequin and beading, qualifying it as fully beaded from collar to train. The high-neck halter frame and the keyhole cutout at the chest are finished cleanly so the embellishment stays intact through the evening. The train adds length at the back and sweeps gracefully when you move.

Key Features

Fully beaded mesh construction from neckline to train

High-neck halter with keyhole chest cutout

Fitted, bodycon silhouette through bust, waist, and hips

Front high-slit for movement and drama

Sweeping train

Sleeveless; no boning — relies on the mesh stretch and close cut for structure

Available in Aqua/Multi, Lilac, and Silver/Multi

Style & Occasion

Portia and Scarlett PS27088C is designed for events where you want to be the focal point of the room. It is a natural fit for prom, pageant competition, formal gala events, and evening award ceremonies. The allover beading and high-neck keyhole combination reads as high-fashion and stage-ready, which is why it also works for pageant prelims and Miss Universe–style competitions. The Silver/Multi colorway photographs brilliantly under stage lighting; Aqua/Multi brings vivid colour contrast; Lilac offers a softer shimmer that still reads dramatic in person. Pair with strappy heeled sandals to maximize the leg line through the slit. Keep jewelry minimal — the beading does the work. A sleek updo or pulled-back style lets the halter neckline and keyhole stand out. This gown is best stored hung in a breathable garment bag to protect the beading between wears.

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0744/9541/files/portia-and-scarlett-ps27088c-lilac-01-prom-dresses-marlas-fashions.jpg?v=1793743934
