portia-and-scarlett-ps27070
Portia and Scarlett PS27070 Strapless Lace Corset Mermaid Sweep Train Gown

About the Dress: Portia and Scarlett PS27070

Portia and Scarlett PS27070 is a long strapless mermaid gown built around a lace illusion corset bodice with visible boning channels and a smooth fitted skirt that sweeps into a dramatic train. The silhouette is structured, sleek, and unapologetically formal — this is a dress designed to command a room. PS27070 is available in Black, Blue, Pink, and Yellow, photographed in all four colorways so you can compare shades before ordering.

Fit & Silhouette

PS27070 follows a true mermaid silhouette: the skirt fits close through the hips and thighs, then flares out below the knee into a full sweep train. The strapless corset bodice is reinforced with internal boning that holds the shape and keeps the neckline in place all evening without shoulder straps. Ruching at the hip transition smooths the fit and flatters the natural waist-to-hip curve. This style is built to fit close, so measuring your bust, waist, and hips precisely before choosing a size is essential — refer to Portia and Scarlett's size chart and size to whichever measurement runs largest.

Fabric & Detail

The bodice is constructed from lace over a sheer illusion underlayer, with visible boning channels running through the corset structure. The skirt is a smooth stretch fabric — jersey or stretch satin depending on the colorway and supplier run — that moves with the body and holds the mermaid shape cleanly to the floor. The lace at the bodice adds texture and dimension without competing with the sleek skirt. At the back, a lace-up corset closure runs the full length of the bodice, allowing a meaningful range of size adjustment on the day of the event.

Key Features

Strapless strapless neckline with lace illusion corset bodice

Visible boning channels throughout the bodice for structure and support

Ruching at the hip for a smooth, flattering fit through the waist

True mermaid silhouette flaring below the knee into a sweep train

Lace-up corset closure at the back for adjustable fit

Sleeveless construction — no straps

Available in Black, Blue, Pink, and Yellow

Style & Occasion

Portia and Scarlett PS27070 is a strong choice for prom, formal dances, galas, black-tie events, and evening affairs where a dramatic long gown is the right call. The strapless lace corset silhouette reads as polished and sleek rather than overly ornate, so it works equally well for school prom, a formal black-tie dinner, or a gala entrance. Black is the most dramatic and photography-ready option; Blue photographs cooler and more jewel-toned in real life; Pink reads warmer and softer in person than in composite shots; Yellow is a bold statement color that stands out strongly on a dance floor. Pair with strappy heeled sandals and a simple clutch — the dress does the work, so accessories can stay minimal. Portia and Scarlett PS27070 is inspected by the Marlas Fashions team before it ships, and every order arrives with full tracking.

Portia and Scarlett
00
