portia-and-scarlett-ps27065c
Portia and Scarlett PS27065C Fully-Beaded Fitted Halter V-Neck Gown with Train

About the Dress: Portia and Scarlett PS27065C

Portia and Scarlett PS27065C is a long, fully-beaded fitted gown built for maximum impact. The bodice opens with a halter neckline that drops into a deep V-shaped keyhole cutout at center front, drawing the eye down a completely sleeveless silhouette. Every inch of the garment — from the top of the bodice to the hem — is covered in sequin and bead embellishment layered over a mesh base, so the dress catches light from every angle as you move. A sweeping train trails behind, and a high front slit allows full stride and dramatic movement. The back is entirely open, confirming this gown's statement-making intent.

Fit & Silhouette

PS27065C is cut in a body-contoured fitted silhouette that follows the bust, waist, and hips closely throughout. This is not a dress with a flowing skirt — the fitted line stays close to the body all the way down, then releases into the front slit and flares gently into the train at the floor. The halter construction anchors the neckline at the back of the neck, leaving the shoulders and arms completely free. The open back begins at the shoulder level and extends all the way down, so fit through the torso is primarily achieved through the structured, embellished fabric itself. Order your standard size; the fitted cut leaves little room for excess fabric, so when in doubt, size up one.

Fabric & Detail

The base fabric is mesh, which gives the gown stretch and a second-skin fit. Over that mesh layer, sequin and bead embellishment covers the entire surface top to bottom — bodice and skirt both — qualifying PS27065C as a fully-beaded gown under the strictest definition. The beading adds weight that helps the skirt move with purpose and contributes to the train's elegant sweep. The high front slit is clean and intentional, positioned at center front per our verified imagery, giving the slit dramatic visual impact with each step. The train is moderate in length — enough to photograph beautifully on a stage or red carpet without being difficult to manage during a reception.

Key Features

Fully-beaded mesh construction — sequin and bead embellishment covers the entire gown from top to bottom

Halter neckline with deep front V-keyhole cutout

Completely open back for bold, statement styling

High front slit for movement and visual drama

Sweeping train

Sleeveless, body-contoured fitted silhouette

Available in Black/Gold, Ivory/Gold, and Teal

Style & Occasion

Portia and Scarlett PS27065C was designed for occasions where the goal is to be impossible to miss. It is a natural fit for prom, where the fully-beaded construction and dramatic open back will stand apart from standard sequin styles. The gown also meets the definition of pageant-caliber dressing — a fully-beaded, over-the-top embellished long gown in the "Miss Universe" tradition — making it a serious option for titleholders and competitors. The three available colorways each carry a distinct character: Black/Gold reads as classic power dressing, Ivory/Gold delivers a luminous finish, and Teal adds an unexpected jewel-tone richness to the beading. Style with minimal accessories — the dress carries its own weight. A strappy high heel, small clutch, and simple earrings are all you need.
