portia-and-scarlett-ps27063
Portia and Scarlett PS27063 Halter V-Neck Beaded Fitted Satin Gown

About the Dress: Portia and Scarlett PS27063

Portia and Scarlett PS27063 is a floor-length fitted halter gown built for maximum impact. The silhouette hugs the body through the bust, waist, and hips, then releases into a dramatic sweep train at the hem. A front high slit runs through the skirt, adding movement and ease of stride. The gold metallic colorway gives the dress a luminous finish that reads brilliantly under event lighting. PS27063 is also available in Burgundy and Teal.

Fit & Silhouette

Portia and Scarlett PS27063 fits close to the body from the chest all the way through the hips — this is a true fitted silhouette, not a forgiving one. The structured bodice includes boning for shape retention, so the dress holds its position throughout the night without needing constant adjustment. The high front slit allows a full stride without pulling. The sweep train extends several inches past the hem at the back. If you are between sizes, size up and have the bodice taken in rather than size down and risk restricted movement.

Fabric & Detail

The base fabric is a metallic satin with a liquid drape and a reflective gold surface. Over and through that base, a sheer illusion mesh panel runs the full length of the bodice from neckline to midriff, with beaded crystal lines laid over the illusion layer — the structured boning channels are visible through the sheer panel. The beaded embellishment continues across the skirt in vertical lines that elongate the figure. The overall effect is dense surface detail on a clean underlying structure. The back is fully open from the halter tie down well past the waist, showing the whole back.

Key Features

Halter v-neckline with neck tie

Boned illusion bodice with beaded crystal overlay

Metallic satin base fabric

All-over beaded embellishment lines

High front slit

Fully open back

Sweep train

Available in Gold, Burgundy, and Teal

Style & Occasion

Portia and Scarlett PS27063 is built for high-stakes events where a fitted, statement gown is the right call. It works for prom, pageant competitions, formal galas, and black-tie evening events. The open back and high slit give it an edge that reads best in a formal or pageant context rather than a conservative setting. Style it with minimalist accessories — a simple metallic heel and a small clutch are enough. The beading and illusion bodice do the work; heavy jewelry competes with the dress rather than completing it. A sleek updo or pulled-back style keeps the open back fully visible and lets the halter neckline read cleanly from the front.

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0744/9541/files/portia-and-scarlett-ps27063-gold-01-prom-dresses-marlas-fashions.jpg?v=1793743728
