portia-and-scarlett-ps27036
Portia and Scarlett PS27036 Strapless Mermaid Corset Gown with Hot-Stone Skirt

About the Dress: Portia and Scarlett PS27036

Portia and Scarlett PS27036 is a strapless sweetheart mermaid gown built around a structured boned corset bodice and a hot-stone-encrusted skirt that catches light from every angle. The silhouette fits close through the torso and hips, then flares out at the knee into a sweep train. It comes in three colorways — Black, Blue, and Pink — and the fully open corset back is one of its most dramatic features. This is a statement gown designed to stand out on prom night or a pageant stage.

Fit & Silhouette

PS27036 is a true mermaid: it follows the body closely from chest to knee, then opens into a flared hem with a trailing sweep. The corset bodice has clearly visible boning channels that run vertically through the structured panel, so the top holds its shape and provides real support without needing a separate strapless bra. The fit is body-conscious and form-fitting all the way through the hips. Because the skirt has no slit, movement comes entirely from the flared hem below the knee. Portia and Scarlett PS27036 runs true to size — take your normal measurements across bust, waist, and hips and compare them to the Portia and Scarlett size chart before ordering.

Fabric & Detail

The base of PS27036 is a stretch jersey that gives the skirt its smooth, contoured drape. Over that base, the entire skirt is covered in heat-set hot-stones — small rhinestone-style stones applied in a dense, all-over pattern that gives the lower half of the gown a glittering, encrusted look. The structured corset bodice is a smooth satin-finish panel reinforced with boning. Along the sweetheart neckline edge, small pearl-like trim adds a fine detail at the top of the bodice. A sweep train completes the silhouette, trailing lightly behind the hem.

Key Features

Strapless sweetheart neckline with pearl trim along the edge

Boned corset bodice with visible boning channels — no separate strapless bra needed

Fully open back framed by the corset structure

Hot-stone-encrusted stretch jersey skirt — dense rhinestone coverage from hip to hem

Mermaid silhouette — fitted through torso and hips, flaring below the knee

Sweep train

No slit

Available in Black, Blue, and Pink

Style & Occasion

Portia and Scarlett PS27036 is built for high-impact events. The combination of a boned corset top, a fully beaded skirt, and an open back puts it firmly in prom and pageant territory — this is the kind of gown that reads "Miss Universe" on stage. The sweep train adds drama without restricting walking. It works equally well for a pageant competition or a prom grand entrance. Style it with strappy heels and minimal jewelry — the hot-stone skirt does the work. Hair up shows off the open back. All three colorways photograph well under stage and ballroom lighting. Black reads sleek and dramatic; Blue and Pink both carry the hot-stone coverage beautifully. If you need to match a court or damas, Portia and Scarlett offers coordinating styles — our team can help you find the right pairings.

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0744/9541/files/portia-and-scarlett-ps27036-pink-01-prom-dresses-marlas-fashions.jpg?v=1793738416
