portia-and-scarlett-ps27028c
Portia and Scarlett PS27028C Sweetheart Mesh Fitted Gown with Fully Beaded

About the Dress: Portia and Scarlett PS27028C

Portia and Scarlett PS27028C is a long, fully beaded fitted gown with a deep sweetheart neckline, a dramatic front high slit, and a sweep hem at the back. The dress is built on a mesh base and covered head-to-hem in a geometric lattice of beading and rhinestones — every inch of the bodice and skirt is beaded across all colorways. Available in Navy, Peacock, Red/Fuchsia, and Silver.

Fit & Silhouette

PS27028C is a sleek, body-contoured silhouette fitted through the bust, waist, and hips from top to hem. This is not a fitted — the skirt does not flare out below the knee. Instead it stays close to the body all the way down, opening only at the front high slit. The result is a long, column-like profile that is confident and high-impact. The strapless sweetheart neckline has a visible plunging V-notch at the center front, which lifts and frames the bust. The back is substantially exposed, giving the gown its signature sleek-and-sexy look. Portia and Scarlett size their gowns true to standard US sizing — check their size chart and measure bust, waist, and hips before ordering, since the beaded fabric has very little stretch.

Fabric & Detail

The base fabric of PS27028C is stretch mesh, which gives the gown a small amount of give without sacrificing structure. Over the mesh, geometric lattice beading and rhinestones cover the dress completely from the neckline to the sweep hem — there is no unembellished section anywhere on the gown. The beading appears in the same geometric pattern across all four colorways (Navy, Peacock, Red/Fuchsia, Silver), though the light reflects differently in each color. The Peacock reads as a rich jewel-toned teal-green in person. The Silver catches the light dramatically and photographs with significant sparkle. Red/Fuchsia is vibrant and bold. Navy is a deep blue with cool undertones.

Key Features

Fully beaded from neckline to hem — bodice and skirt both covered

Deep sweetheart neckline with center-front V-notch

Strapless construction, sleeveless

Front high slit for ease of movement

Fitted silhouette contoured through bust, waist, and hips

Mesh base with geometric lattice rhinestone beading

Sweep hem at back

Open back with substantial exposure

Available in Navy, Peacock, Red/Fuchsia, and Silver

Style & Occasion

Portia and Scarlett PS27028C is built for prom, pageant competitions, formal evening galas, and high-glamour events where a fully beaded gown is the right call. The front slit makes it comfortable to walk and dance in despite the fitted silhouette. Silver is the most popular choice for pageant stages where light reflection matters. Peacock and Red/Fuchsia are bold, photogenic choices for prom and gala events. Navy is the most versatile option if you want a formal look that does not read as overtly party-focused.

Pair PS27028C with a strappy heeled sandal or a pointed-toe stiletto in metallic or neutral tones — the beading already provides all the surface interest the look needs. Keep jewelry minimal: a simple ear cuff or small drop earring works well. For evening galas, a small beaded clutch in a matching or complementary color completes the look without competing with the gown.

Marlas Fashions is an authorized Portia and Scarlett retailer.
