portia-and-scarlett-ps27003
Portia and Scarlett PS27003 Strapless Corset Fit-and-Flare Gown with Tiered Ruffle Skirt

About the Dress: Portia and Scarlett PS27003

Portia and Scarlett PS27003 is a floor-length fit-and-flare gown built around a structured strapless sweetheart neckline and a sheer illusion mesh corset bodice with clearly visible vertical boning channels. The skirt breaks into a dramatic tiered ruffle silhouette in satin, cut with a prominent front high slit and finished with a floor-length train. A fabric patterned accent at the bust centre adds a single focal point without competing with the gown's overall volume. PS27003 is available in Black/White, Pink/Black, Red/Black, and White/Black.

Fit & Silhouette

Portia and Scarlett PS27003 follows a true fit-and-flare line. The boned illusion corset bodice holds the bust and waist firmly in place, shaping the torso before releasing into the tiered ruffle skirt. Because the boning is structural rather than decorative, the bodice does not need additional support underneath — the gown works on its own. The strapless sweetheart neckline sits close to the chest and stays put throughout the night. The front slit allows full stride and movement without disturbing the silhouette. The train adds length and drama at the back. Portia and Scarlett PS27003 runs to standard formal sizing; if you are between sizes, sizing up and having the bodice taken in by a seamstress gives the best result because the boned corset structure is straightforward to alter.

Fabric & Detail

The base fabric of the skirt is satin, cut into multiple distinct tiered ruffle layers. Satin catches light cleanly and holds the structure of each ruffle tier so the volume stays where it is supposed to rather than collapsing. The bodice is constructed from a sheer illusion mesh panel that sits over the chest and waist, creating the corset effect. Visible boning channels run vertically through the mesh. The patterned accent at the bust is a fabric rose appliqué — a sculpted three-dimensional detail that sits at the centre of the neckline. The floor-length train extends from the back hem.

Key Features

Strapless sweetheart neckline with sheer illusion mesh corset bodice

Visible vertical boning channels for structured fit and support

Dramatic tiered ruffle satin skirt with multiple distinct ruffle layers

Prominent front high slit for ease of movement

Fabric patterned rose appliqué accent at bust centre

Floor-length train

Available in Black/White, Pink/Black, Red/Black, and White/Black

Style & Occasion

Portia and Scarlett PS27003 is built for high-impact formal events where a dramatic silhouette is the point. It is a natural choice for prom, formal gala evenings, and pageant competitions — the tiered ruffle volume, boned corset bodice, and floor-length train put it squarely in that over-the-top category. The color contrast options (Black/White, Red/Black, White/Black) photograph exceptionally well under event lighting and stand out in group shots. Pink/Black is also available for those who want the same silhouette with a softer contrast. For accessories, keep jewelry minimal — a simple ear cuff or small drop earring lets the gown do the work. A strappy heeled sandal in a neutral or matching tone is the most practical choice given the front slit. For prom group photos, the high-contrast colorways coordinate well with classic black tuxedos and white or black suits.

Portia and Scarlett
00 /
