portia-and-scarlett-ps27207
Portia and Scarlett PS27207 Strapless Chiffon Fit-and-Flare Gown with Train

About the Dress: Portia and Scarlett PS27207

Portia and Scarlett PS27207 is a floor-length strapless gown in flowing chiffon with a fit-and-flare silhouette and a full sweeping train. The bodice is structured with ruched gathering across the bust and waist, and an attached draped scarf panel loops from one shoulder around the neck, adding a softly dramatic finishing detail. PS27207 is available in Champagne, Lilac, Lt. Blue, and Mint.

Fit & Silhouette

PS27207 follows a fit-and-flare shape — the bodice and waist are fitted and ruched to draw in the figure, then the chiffon skirt flares out gradually into a full a-line sweep with a train. The strapless construction relies on a structured bodice, so the dress holds its shape without straps. The silhouette reads elegant and elongating from the neckline straight through to the floor. Portia and Scarlett size this style true to standard sizing; if you are between sizes, sizing up and having the waist taken in gives a cleaner fit.

Fabric & Detail

The gown is constructed in chiffon — a lightweight, slightly sheer fabric that drapes smoothly and moves well when you walk. The fabric has a pleated quality through the skirt that adds body without weight. The ruching at the bust and waist is worked directly into the chiffon so the gathered detail is part of the garment's structure, not just surface decoration. The attached scarf panel is cut from the same fabric, so it blends seamlessly with the skirt and drapes naturally rather than sitting stiff. A train extends from the hem on the skirt — visible and substantial on the Champagne colorway.

Key Features

Strapless structured bodice with ruching at bust and waist

Fit-and-flare a-line silhouette in chiffon

Attached draped scarf/cape panel from one shoulder

Sweeping train at the hem

Four colorways: Champagne, Lilac, Lt. The floor-length chiffon silhouette and train read formal without being over-the-top, which makes it a strong option for bridesmaids or wedding guests who want something polished. The scarf panel adds enough visual interest that accessories can stay minimal — a pair of strappy heels and simple earrings is all you need. The four colorways let a bridal party or damas group coordinate easily across shades. Champagne reads warmer and more neutral; Lilac, Lt. Blue, and Mint give a soft, fresh palette that photographs well in natural light. For prom, the draped shoulder detail sets this silhouette apart from strapless gowns that rely purely on beading or sequins for impact.

00 / Lt.
