portia-and-scarlett-ps27136
Portia and Scarlett PS27136 Sweetheart Jersey Fitted Gown with Front Slit & Ruched Detail

About the Dress: Portia and Scarlett PS27136

The Portia and Scarlett PS27136 is a long strapless fitted gown built around a structured corset bodice with visible boning channels. The sweetheart neckline sits low and defined across the chest, and an illusion center-front panel — a sheer mesh strip running down the center of the bodice — adds an unexpected detail without breaking the sleek line. Scattered bead and hot-stone embellishment runs across the bodice and continues onto the skirt, catching light at every angle. This is a bold, overtly glamorous dress designed for prom, pageant, and formal evenings where standing out is the point.

Fit & Silhouette

The Portia and Scarlett PS27136 fits close through the bust, waist, and hips. The boned corset bodice gives genuine structure — it holds its shape and provides support without a separate bra. Draped ruching at the hip softens the fitted silhouette and flatters curves by drawing the eye across the body rather than straight down. The skirt flares at the hem, giving the gown that classic fitted-to-flare shape. A high front slit runs from the hem up through the thigh, adding movement and making it easy to walk and dance. The full back is open, which pairs with the strapless front to make this one of the more exposed styles in the PS27136 range — size up if you are between sizes for the most comfortable fit through the bodice.

Fabric & Detail

The base of the Portia and Scarlett PS27136 is a stretch jersey with a silky, slightly luminous drape — it moves with the body rather than holding stiff. The illusion center panel is sheer mesh. Scattered beading and hot-stone embellishment covers the bodice and extends onto the skirt, giving the gown its sparkle and pageant-ready finish. The ruching at the hip is sewn into the fabric rather than an added piece, so it stays in place throughout the night. Boning channels run visibly through the corset bodice, providing the structure that makes this dress wearable without straps.

Key Features

Strapless sweetheart neckline with illusion center-front mesh panel

Structured corset bodice with visible boning channels — no separate bra needed

Scatter bead and hot-stone embellishment on bodice and skirt

Draped ruching at the hip

High front slit for movement

Fitted silhouette with a flared hem

Full open back

Stretch jersey base fabric

Available in Black, Emerald, Navy, and Silver

Style & Occasion

The Portia and Scarlett PS27136 is a natural fit for prom — the structured bodice, high slit, and bead embellishment hit every note that makes a prom gown memorable. It also works for pageant competitions where a fully embellished long gown is expected. Formal evening events, galas, and black-tie occasions are all realistic settings for this dress. The four colorways give you real options: Black is sharp and classic, Emerald is rich and vivid, Navy reads formal and sophisticated, and Silver turns up the sparkle for a true showstopper look. Pair with a strappy heel and minimal jewelry — the dress carries the look on its own. The open back and high slit make this style a natural fit for evening receptions and black-tie galas, where dramatic details are very much at home.

Portia and
