portia-and-scarlett-ps27094
Portia and Scarlett PS27094 Strapless Sweetheart Beaded Satin Mermaid Gown

About the Dress: Portia and Scarlett PS27094

The Portia and Scarlett PS27094 is a strapless, sweetheart-neckline mermaid gown built around a boned corset bodice and a beaded satin shell. It comes in Black and Red, hits a dramatic court train at the hem, and features a lace-up open back that lets you dial in the fit on the night. This is a long, fully structured gown designed for high-impact moments — prom, formal galas, and pageant stages.

Fit & Silhouette

PS27094 is fitted from the sweetheart neckline straight through the bust, waist, and hips, then flares out below the knee into a mermaid skirt with a sweeping court train. The internal boning holds the corset bodice firm and upright without a strap, so the strapless silhouette stays secure through a full evening. The lace-up back closure lets you tighten or loosen the fit at the event — ideal if you're between sizes or want a custom feel. The mermaid flare gives the skirt room to move while the upper body stays sculpted and close.

Fabric & Detail

The base of PS27094 is a lustrous satin — smooth, structured, and substantial enough to hold the mermaid shape through the skirt. The bodice and skirt are covered in scattered beadwork that catches light as you move. The beading is not wall-to-wall; it sits across the surface of the satin in clusters and patterns, adding sparkle without tipping into a fully beaded look. Visible boning channels run through the corset bodice, giving the structure you'd expect from a lace-up fitted gown. The court train extends cleanly from the skirt hem and photographs well from behind.

Key Features

Strapless sweetheart neckline with boned corset bodice

Fitted mermaid silhouette — close through the body, flares below the knee

Beaded satin construction with scattered beadwork across bodice and skirt

Lace-up open back — adjustable fit at the event

Court train

Available in Black and Red

No slit — clean mermaid line from hip to flare

Style & Occasion

Portia and Scarlett PS27094 is built for prom, formal evenings, and pageant competitions. The boned strapless bodice, dramatic mermaid skirt, and court train give it the presence needed for a stage or a ballroom. Black reads as sleek and authoritative — strong for pageant and evening events. Red is vivid and high-impact, ideal for prom court or any formal occasion where you want to stand out. Pair with strappy heeled sandals or pointed-toe heels to extend the leg line under the mermaid skirt. Keep jewelry minimal — a simple stud or small drop earring lets the gown lead. An updo or pulled-back style shows off the lace-up open back. If you are attending with a group, both colorways photograph well together and the silhouette is consistent across the size range.

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0744/9541/files/portia-and-scarlett-ps27094-red-01-prom-dresses-marlas-fashions.jpg?v=1793743938
