portia-and-scarlett-ps27085
Portia and Scarlett PS27085 Sweetheart Glitter Fitted Gown with Sweep Train & Front Slit

About the Dress: Portia and Scarlett PS27085

Portia and Scarlett PS27085 is a long strapless sweetheart gown in lace with a glitter finish, built for occasions where the goal is to be the most dramatic person in the room. The skirt fits close through the hips and flares into a full fitted hem with a trailing train. A front-facing high slit opens the skirt for ease of movement. A large bow sits at the natural waist on the left hip, giving the silhouette a defined, sculptural moment. PS27085 is available in Black, Mint, Pink, and Yellow.

Fit & Silhouette

Portia and Scarlett PS27085 follows a fitted silhouette: close-fitted through the bust, waist, and hips, then flaring out below the knee into a sweeping hem with a small train. The fit is intentionally snug — this is a gown that follows the body closely from top to thigh. Vertical boning channels run through the entire bodice, holding everything in place and giving the torso a structured, contoured shape. The sweetheart neckline sits in a clean curve across the chest. Because the skirt is fitted through the hips, we recommend sizing to your largest measurement and tailoring down from there if needed. Customers between sizes should go up.

Fabric & Detail

The gown is constructed in lace with a glitter finish layered across the surface. On the Black colorway, the glitter coverage is heavier, giving it a more sequin-like appearance in photos and strong light. Mint, Pink, and Yellow carry a lighter shimmer over the lace pattern. The bodice features clearly visible vertical boning channels — no guesswork on structure here. A large bow in a matching fabric sits at the natural left hip and adds shape to the waistline transition. The skirt closes into a fitted flare at the hem with a small train and a front-facing high slit.

Key Features

Strapless sweetheart neckline

Lace construction with glitter finish (heavier on Black)

Structured bodice with visible vertical boning channels

Large left-hip bow at the natural waist

fitted silhouette — fitted through hips, flares below the knee

Front-facing high slit

Small trailing train

Sleeveless; no straps

Available in Black, Mint, Pink, and Yellow

Style & Occasion

Portia and Scarlett PS27085 is built for prom, formal dances, evening galas, and any formal event where a high-impact gown is the right call. The combination of a fitted fitted silhouette, glitter lace, front slit, and waist bow makes this one of the more dramatic options in the PS27085 range. It photographs exceptionally well and reads differently in each colorway: Black is the boldest and most formal; Pink is soft and romantic; Mint reads fresh and distinct; Yellow is a standout if you want something that nobody else in the room is wearing. For styling, a simple strappy heel and minimal jewelry let the gown carry the look. Because the skirt is fitted, comfort shoes or low heels work better for dancing than a high stiletto.

Portia and Scarlett
00 /
