portia-and-scarlett-ps27066c
Portia and Scarlett PS27066C Sequin Halter V-Neck Fitted Gown High Slit

About the Dress: Portia and Scarlett PS27066C

Portia and Scarlett PS27066C is a long, fully sequined fitted gown with a deep halter v-neckline, a dramatic front high slit, a fully open back, and a small sweep train. The sequin surface covers the entire dress from neckline to hem — no plain panels, no breaks. Halter straps cross at the back of the neck, leaving the entire back completely bare well past the waistline. This is a statement gown built for movement and impact.

Fit & Silhouette

The silhouette is fitted and sleek through the bust, waist, and hips in a straight column cut. The front high slit gives the illusion of flare and creates fluid movement as you walk, but the skirt itself is straight-fitted rather than flared or fitted. draped detail at the hip and side seam contours the waistline and adds subtle definition. The overall effect is long, lean, and body-skimming from top to hem.

Fabric & Detail

The base construction is a stretch mesh foundation that keeps the gown supportive and flexible across the body. Full sequin coverage sits over that mesh base, giving the dress an all-over luminous finish that catches light from every angle. The navy colorway features an additional beaded and embroidered waist appliqué motif not present on other colorways — a distinct detail worth noting if you are deciding between colors. A sweep train adds a formal finish at the hem without the bulk of a long court train.

Key Features

Fully sequined from neckline to hem over a stretch mesh base

Deep halter v-neckline with straps that cross at the back of the neck

Dramatic front-facing high slit with natural movement

Fully open back — bare well past the waistline

draped detail at hip and side seam for waist definition

Sweep train at the hem

Additional beaded waist appliqué on the navy colorway

Available in Black/Gold, Gold, Navy, Teal, and Silver

Style & Occasion

Portia and Scarlett PS27066C is built for high-impact occasions where the dress is meant to be noticed. It fits naturally into prom, formal dances, evening galas, and pageant competitions. The fully sequined surface, plunging halter neckline, open back, and front slit place this firmly in sleek and dramatic territory — it is not a subtle dress, and it is not intended to be. Style it with a high updo to show the open back, minimal jewelry so the sequins do the work, and a strappy heel to complement the slit. The sweep train adds a formal polish that reads well on a dance floor or a stage. Available colorways are Black/Gold, Gold, Navy, Teal, and Silver — note that the Black/Gold colorway is listed but was not photographed in the current image set; contact us before ordering if you need to see it first.

Portia and Scarlett
00 /
