portia-and-scarlett-ps27027
Portia and Scarlett PS27027 A-Line Ballgown Corset Satin Gown with Train

About the Dress: Portia and Scarlett PS27027

Portia and Scarlett PS27027 is a long a-line ballgown built around a structured corset bodice with clearly visible boning channels, a scoop neckline, and wide straps finished with pearl trim along both the neckline edge and strap edges. The skirt is full-volume satin with a dramatic floor-length train and a high front slit that adds movement and visual impact. The back is fully open, framed by the pearl-trimmed straps. This gown is available in Black, Cinderella Blue, Pink, and Ivory.

Fit & Silhouette

PS27027 follows a classic a-line ballgown shape — fitted and structured through the bodice, then opening into a sweeping full skirt from the waist down. The corset bodice has built-in boning channels that give firm support and a defined waist without a separate undergarment. Wide straps sit at the shoulders, keeping the structured neckline in place. The high front slit runs through the skirt for ease of movement and a striking visual line. This silhouette works well for a range of body types because the fitted bodice balances the volume of the skirt. We recommend ordering your standard size based on Portia and Scarlett's size chart, measuring bust, waist, and hips before selecting.

Fabric & Detail

The skirt is crafted in a smooth, structured satin that holds its volume beautifully and photographs with rich color. Pearl trim runs along the neckline and strap edges — fine detailing that gives the gown a polished, dressed-up finish without heavy beading across the body. The corset bodice is lined and boned for support, and the gown finishes with a sweeping train that photographs dramatically from behind. The fully open back, framed by the pearl-trimmed straps, is the most striking detail when the gown is seen in person.

Key Features

- Long a-line ballgown silhouette with full satin skirt and train
- Structured corset bodice with visible boning channels for built-in support
- Scoop neckline with wide straps trimmed in pearl along all edges
- High front slit for movement and proportion
- Fully open back framed by the pearl-trimmed straps
- Available in Black, Cinderella Blue, Pink, and Ivory
- Portia and Scarlett PS27027

Style & Occasion

Portia and Scarlett PS27027 is sized and styled for prom, formal events, evening galas, and pageant competitions. The full ballgown skirt, corset structure, pearl detailing, and open back make it a strong choice when you want a gown that reads over-the-top formal — not understated. The Black colorway is dramatic and high-contrast. Cinderella Blue is a cool, vivid blue that photographs with a lot of depth. Pink is soft and romantic, and Ivory is a warm off-white. Pair with strappy heeled sandals, drop pearl earrings, and a simple updo to let the open back and neckline detail do the work. For accessories, keep jewelry light — the pearl trim on the dress does enough.

Portia and Scarlett
00 /
