portia-and-scarlett-ps27026
Portia and Scarlett PS27026 Strapless Beaded Corset Fitted Satin Gown

About the Dress: Portia and Scarlett PS27026

Portia and Scarlett PS27026 is a long strapless fitted gown built around a structured corset bodice with visible boning channels. The bodice and skirt are covered in scattered pearl and bead embellishment over a satin base, giving the gown a polished, high-impact finish. A dramatic front high slit and a sweep train complete the silhouette, while the fully open back — framed by the exposed boning detail — makes PS27026 one of the most striking gowns in the Portia and Scarlett line-up.

Fit & Silhouette

PS27026 is cut fitted from the bust through the waist and hips, with no flare below the knee. The corset bodice features visible boning channels that cinch the waist and lift the bust without relying on straps. The high slit opens at the center front, adding movement and ease without softening the overall fitted profile. This gown is true to size for most customers; if you are between sizes, size up and plan for a minor nip at the waist. The structured boning provides enough built-in support that most wearers do not need a separate strapless bra, though a low-back solution or adhesive bra is recommended if you prefer added coverage at the open back.

Fabric & Detail

The base of PS27026 is satin — a smooth, luminous fabric with a subtle liquid sheen that photographs well and drapes cleanly over the body. Pearl-style and bead embellishments are scattered across both the bodice and the skirt, catching the light as you move. The beading is concentrated most densely across the bodice, thinning gradually toward the hem to keep the skirt fluid rather than stiff. A small amount of waist gathering on some colorways creates a ruched effect at the midsection, further defining the waist. The sweep train adds length at the back without being difficult to manage on the dance floor.

Key Features

Strapless sweetheart neckline with visible boning channels

Fitted silhouette through bust, waist, and hips

Pearl and bead embellishment on satin base

Center-front high slit for ease of movement

Fully open back with exposed corset boning detail

Sweep train

Sleeveless construction

Available in Berry, Black, Blue, Pink, and Teal

Style & Occasion

Portia and Scarlett PS27026 is designed for high-visibility events where a confident, polished look matters. It suits prom, formal evening events, black-tie galas, and pageant competitions. The open back and front slit make this a bold choice — for wedding-guest occasions, it suits evening receptions and black-tie events best. Blue and Pink are the photographed colorways; Berry, Black, and Teal are also available and worth considering if you want a more understated or dramatic finish. Style it with strappy heeled sandals, minimalist drop earrings, and a small clutch — the beading on the bodice means additional jewelry is optional.
