portia-and-scarlett-ps27014
Portia and Scarlett PS27014 Sweetheart Lace Fitted Gown with Sweep Train & Front Slit

About the Dress: Portia and Scarlett PS27014

Portia and Scarlett PS27014 is a long, strapless fitted gown built around an illusion mesh corset bodice with visible boning channels, floral lace appliqués, and beading across the top. The skirt is stretch satin with a dramatic front high slit and a train that sweeps behind you. The back is fully open with a lace-up crisscross closure running down the spine. PS27014 is available in Black, Champagne, Ice Blue, Ice Pink, Aqua/Gold, and Ivory/Gold.

Fit & Silhouette

Portia and Scarlett PS27014 fits close to the body from the bust through the hips — a true fitted silhouette. The boned corset bodice gives real structure and hold across the chest, so the dress stays in place all night without straps. The stretch satin skirt follows the body line and opens into a front slit, which adds movement and makes walking easy. The lace-up back allows a small amount of adjustment, but this dress is cut fitted and is meant to skim the body throughout. Order true to size. If you are between sizes, size up and alter down — taking in a fitted gown is straightforward; letting it out is not.

Fabric & Detail

The bodice of PS27014 is built from an illusion mesh layer underlaid with stretch satin, with visible boning channels that define the corset structure. Floral lace appliqués and beading are placed across the upper bodice for texture and dimension. The skirt transitions to stretch satin — smooth, with a slight stretch that moves with the body. Draped and gathered panels at the hip add shape to the skirt. The train extends from the back hem. The lace-up crisscross back is entirely open behind the lacing, showing the full back.

Key Features

Strapless sweetheart neckline with illusion mesh corset bodice

Visible boning channels for structured support

Floral lace appliqués and beading on the upper bodice

Stretch satin skirt with gathered hip detail

Dramatic front high slit

Lace-up crisscross open back

Train

Available in Black, Champagne, Ice Blue, Ice Pink, Aqua/Gold, Ivory/Gold

Style & Occasion

Portia and Scarlett PS27014 is built for prom, formal galas, and pageants where a high-impact entrance matters. The combination of an open-back lace-up corset, a front slit, and a fitted stretch satin skirt makes this a dress designed to command attention. Black reads sleek and dramatic. Champagne and Ivory/Gold photograph with a warm glow under event lighting. Ice Blue and Ice Pink are cooler and softer in person than they appear in previews — both are popular for prom. Aqua/Gold has a metallic finish that shows especially well under stage and ballroom lighting. Pair with strappy heeled sandals to show off the slit. Keep jewelry minimal — the bodice does the work. A small clutch and a simple updo complete the look.

Portia and Scarlett
00 /
