portia-and-scarlett-ps27010c
Portia and Scarlett PS27010C Sweetheart Sequin Fitted Gown with Sweep Train & Front Slit

About the Dress: Portia and Scarlett PS27010C

Portia and Scarlett PS27010C is a fully beaded, strapless long gown built on a mesh base and covered in sequin and beading from the bodice to the hem. The strapless sweetheart neckline frames the décolleté cleanly, and the structured bodice features visible boning channels that hold the shape securely without a strap in sight. A front high-slit cuts through the skirt for dramatic movement, and the gown finishes with a sweep train at the back. This is one of those gowns that reads differently in every colorway — Aqua, Black/Gold, Champagne Beige/Pink/Fuchsia, Peacock/Navy, Pink/Multi, and Red are all available.

Fit & Silhouette

PS27010C is a fitted silhouette — it contours the bust, waist, and hips closely all the way down. This is not a fitted; there is no flare below the knee. Instead, the front high-slit releases the skirt for walking and movement while the fitted line stays intact. The boning in the bodice adds structure so the gown holds its position throughout the night. Ruching in the abdominal and hip zone gives the midriff area a slightly gathered look that smooths the transition from waist to hip. Customers who run between sizes typically size up one to account for the close fit through the hips.

Fabric & Detail

The base of Portia and Scarlett PS27010C is a stretch mesh foundation. Over that, beading and sequin cover the entire surface — bodice and skirt — top to bottom with no plain panels. The result is a fully beaded gown that catches light from every angle. The sequin and bead work is consistent across all six colorways, though each color reads differently under stage lighting versus natural light: the Black/Gold reads warmer under incandescent light, while Aqua and Peacock/Navy hold their saturation under cool LED setups. The open back is bare down to the low waist, which is the natural consequence of the strapless construction — there is nothing crossing the back.

Key Features

Fully beaded and sequined mesh construction — bodice and skirt covered top to bottom

Strapless sweetheart neckline with structured boning channels in the bodice

Front-facing high-slit for movement without breaking the fitted silhouette

Open back — bare to the low waist

Ruching in the abdominal and hip zone

Sweep train at the hem

Available in Aqua, Black/Gold, Champagne Beige/Pink/Fuchsia, Peacock/Navy, Pink/Multi, and Red

Style & Occasion

Portia and Scarlett PS27010C is built for high-impact occasions where all-over sparkle is the expectation. It is a natural fit for prom, formal galas, evening events, and pageant stages — the fully beaded surface and dramatic open back suit any setting where the dress is meant to be the centerpiece. The sweep train adds formality without being a full cathedral length, so it works on a dance floor without becoming a hazard. For color choice: Black/Gold photographs with the most contrast under standard event lighting; Peacock/Navy and Aqua are the best picks if the venue has colored uplighting; Red and Pink/Multi read boldly in person but can bloom slightly warmer in photography; Champagne Beige/Pink/Fuchsia is the softest option and works well when the wearer wants the embellishment to read rather than the color. Pair with strappy heeled sandals, minimal jewelry, and a simple clutch — the beading handles all the visual work.

Portia and Scarlett
00 /
