faviana-11627
Faviana 11627 Strapless Mermaid Lace Appliqué Tulle Trumpet Gown with Sweep Train

About the Dress: Faviana 11627

Faviana 11627 is a strapless long mermaid gown built on a tulle base with floral lace appliqués scattered across the bodice and skirt. The silhouette fits close through the bust, waist, and hips, then flares dramatically below the knee into a trumpet skirt with a sweep train. The structured boned bodice holds its shape without straps, and the full open back with lace-up crisscross straps makes the rear view just as striking as the front. This is a standard-size Faviana style available in Dark Hunter Green, Light Pink, Light Yellow, and Navy.

Fit & Silhouette

Faviana 11627 follows a true mermaid-trumpet line: it contours the body from the strapless neckline all the way through the hips, then breaks into a full flare below the knee. The boned bodice is structured to stay in place and gives a defined, sculpted shape at the waist without needing straps or a full corset back. The trumpet skirt adds volume at the hem and gives the gown its dramatic movement when you walk. The sweep train extends behind you without requiring a bustle. This silhouette works especially well if you want a fitted look that still moves and photographs with impact. The mermaid cut is most flattering when the gown is taken in to fit your exact measurements, so Faviana's standard size chart is your starting point and alterations are common for the best result.

Fabric & Detail

The base of Faviana 11627 is tulle — a lightweight sheer fabric that gives the skirt its airy, layered look while keeping the gown structured from underneath. Floral lace appliqués cover the majority of the bodice and scatter across the tulle skirt in a pattern that gets denser toward the top and more open toward the hem. The lace detail is the defining surface treatment of this gown: the flowers are dimensional enough to catch the light and give the dress texture without relying on beading or sequins. The back features exposed crisscross lace-up straps that span the upper back while leaving the entire back bare from the shoulder blades to the waist — a clean, architectural detail that works as a design feature rather than just a closure.

Key Features

Strapless scoop neckline with boned, structured bodice

Mermaid-trumpet silhouette — fitted through hips, flares below the knee

Tulle base with scattered floral lace appliqués on bodice and skirt

Full open back with lace-up crisscross straps

Sweep train

No slit

Available in Dark Hunter Green, Light Pink, Light Yellow, and Navy

Available in standard sizes

Style & Occasion

Faviana 11627 is built for prom, and the silhouette and construction give it a statement presence at any important occasion. The strapless mermaid cut and full open back make this a statement gown — it reads as confident and dramatic rather than understated. Navy is a versatile deep option that photographs well in low light. Dark Hunter Green is a bold, unexpected choice that stands out in a crowd. Light Yellow is fresh and luminous under event lighting. Light Pink is soft but still dramatic in the mermaid silhouette. For accessories, a simple drop earring or ear cuff works well with the open back — a necklace competes with the clean strapless neckline, so keep the neck bare or minimal. A strappy heel or pointed-toe sandal pairs naturally with the trumpet hem. Because the open back is a central design feature, a wrap or cover-up will obscure it — plan accordingly for the venue.

Faviana
00 / Light
