portia-and-scarlett-ps27024
Portia and Scarlett PS27024 Halter V-Neck Mermaid Hot-Stone Gown with Sweep Train

About the Dress: Portia and Scarlett PS27024

Portia and Scarlett PS27024 is a long, form-fitting halter-neck gown with a deep V-plunge neckline and a fully open back. The silhouette hugs the body from shoulders to the floor, then flares into a subtle sweep train at the hem. Every inch of the dress — bodice, hips, and skirt — is covered in allover hot-stone rhinestone embellishment arranged in a geometric Art Deco fan pattern. It is available in Black, Gold, and Fuchsia.

Fit & Silhouette

PS27024 follows a true mermaid cut: the jersey base fabric stretches and contours through the bust, waist, and hips, then fans out near the floor into a sweep train. The fit is close throughout, so the silhouette reads as one continuous line from the halter neckline to the hem. Because the fabric has stretch, it moves with the body rather than fighting it. Women between standard sizes generally find that sizing up one gives the most comfortable fit without losing the body-contouring shape.

Fabric & Detail

The base of Portia and Scarlett PS27024 is a stretch jersey knit, chosen for its high-sheen drape and its ability to hold the mermaid line under the weight of the embellishment. Over that base, hot-stone rhinestones are set in a repeating Art Deco fan geometric across the full surface of the dress — from the halter neckline all the way to the sweep train. The effect is the same across all three colorways: Black carries a sharp, high-contrast sparkle; Gold reads warm and luminous; Fuchsia delivers bold, saturated colour with full-coverage shimmer.

Key Features

Allover hot-stone rhinestone embellishment in a geometric Art Deco fan pattern

Halter-neck with deep V-plunge neckline

Fully open back — bare from the shoulders to the base of the spine

Stretch jersey base fabric for body-contouring drape

Mermaid silhouette with sweep train

Sleeveless construction

Available in Black, Gold, and Fuchsia

Style & Occasion

Portia and Scarlett PS27024 is built for high-impact formal moments. The full-coverage rhinestone finish and open-back mermaid silhouette make it a strong choice for prom and for pageant competitions where over-the-top embellishment and stage presence are expected. The dramatic open back and deep V-neckline are central to the design, so this gown suits events where bold, body-forward styling is appropriate — not conservative dress codes. Style it with strappy heels and minimal jewellery to let the all-over stonework carry the look. The sweep train adds length and movement on the dance floor or the stage without restricting stride. All three colorways photograph well under event lighting: Black is the most versatile, Gold works especially well under warm stage lighting, and Fuchsia stands out in group and competition settings.

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0744/9541/files/portia-and-scarlett-ps27024-black-01-prom-dresses-marlas-fashions.jpg?v=1793738347
