portia-and-scarlett-ps27021
Portia and Scarlett PS27021 Strapless A-Line Tiered Ruffle Chiffon Gown

About the Dress: Portia and Scarlett PS27021

Portia and Scarlett PS27021 is a long strapless sweetheart a-line gown built in polka-dot printed chiffon. The bodice is structured with a corset construction — vertical boning channels are visible throughout — and the skirt fans out into multiple distinct horizontal tiers of ruffled chiffon that sweep to the floor with a slight train. A front high slit breaks through the tiered layers, and the back is fully open. This is a striking, statement-making gown that leads with the print and the movement of the skirt.

Fit & Silhouette

Portia and Scarlett PS27021 follows an a-line silhouette: the corset bodice fits closely through the bust and waist, then the skirt releases and flows outward from the hips in a relaxed, sweeping line. The boning inside the corset bodice provides genuine structure and hold — this is not just a decorative lace-up. The sweetheart neckline frames the collarbone and décolletage cleanly. The front high slit gives freedom of movement through the ruffled skirt. The open back extends across the full back of the dress. This silhouette works well on a range of body types because the corset bodice defines the waist while the tiered skirt moves away from the hips and thighs rather than clinging to them.

Fabric & Detail

The base fabric is chiffon, lightweight and fluid, printed in an all-over polka-dot pattern that covers the dress from bodice to hem. The polka-dot print gives this gown a playful, fashion-forward character that separates it from plain chiffon styles. The tiered ruffle skirt is built from multiple horizontal layers of ruffled chiffon stacked from hip to floor, creating volume and movement that catches light as you walk. The corset bodice features visible boning channels for real shaping support. The front high slit runs through the tiered layers. A decorative trim detail is visible at the sweetheart neckline edge — please check the product images or contact our team to confirm the exact finish on the neckline edge before ordering.

Key Features

Long strapless sweetheart a-line silhouette

Polka-dot printed chiffon throughout

Structured corset bodice with visible boning channels

Tiered ruffle skirt with multiple horizontal chiffon layers

Front high slit through the ruffle tiers

Full open back

Floor-length with a slight train

Available in Coral and Blue

Style & Occasion

Portia and Scarlett PS27021 is built for prom, formal dances, and evening events where you want something that stands out. The polka-dot print and tiered ruffle skirt are a strong visual combination — this is not a safe background gown, it is the one people will remember. It suits Sweet 16 celebrations and debut events as well. Style it with strappy heeled sandals and minimal jewelry to let the print and skirt do the work. A small clutch in a solid coral or solid blue pulls the look together. Available in Coral and Blue — both colorways photograph beautifully and carry the polka-dot print at full effect.

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0744/9541/files/portia-and-scarlett-ps27021-coral-01-prom-dresses-marlas-fashions.jpg?v=1793738336
