portia-and-scarlett-ps27018
Portia and Scarlett PS27018 Halter V-Neck Glitter Jersey Gown with High Slit

About the Dress: Portia and Scarlett PS27018

The Portia and Scarlett PS27018 is a long, ultra-fitted halter gown built from stretch glitter jersey — a fine glitter-thread knit that catches light at every angle. The neckline is a deep V-plunge supported by a halter strap that ties at the nape of the neck, combining both halter-neck construction and a V-neck shape in one silhouette. The entire back is bare: the halter strap ties at the top, and from there the back is fully open down past the waist. A front high slit, a ruched hip panel, and a small train complete the look. PS27018 is available in eight colorways: Chocolate, Cobalt, Deep Red, Emerald, Gold AB, Gunmetal, Navy, and Rose Gold.

Fit & Silhouette

PS27018 is a true fitted gown — it contours through the bust, waist, and hips without any flare below the knee. The stretch glitter jersey has enough give to move with your body, but the cut is designed to sit close to every curve from top to hem. The ruched panel across the hip adds dimension while keeping the silhouette sleek. A front high slit gives freedom of movement without breaking the fitted line. The small train at the back adds a formal sweep. This is a sleek-and-sexy silhouette built for someone who wants a gown that makes a statement through fit rather than volume.

Fabric & Detail

The base fabric is stretch glitter jersey — a knit construction with glitter threads woven throughout, so the shimmer is structural, not a surface coating. It drapes cleanly and recovers well, which is what makes the ruching at the hip look intentional and tailored rather than bunched. Fine bead-like detailing runs in a vertical stripe pattern across the bodice, adding a second layer of texture alongside the glitter base. The halter strap ties at the nape, meaning the fit across the chest and back can be adjusted slightly at the tie point. The small train is cut from the same fabric and lies flat at the back hem.

Key Features

Deep V-plunge halter neckline with tie at the nape

Fully open back — bare from the halter tie to below the waist

Front high slit for ease of movement

Ruched hip panel in stretch glitter jersey

Vertical bead-stripe detailing across the bodice

Small train at the back hem

Stretch glitter jersey base — structured knit with built-in shimmer

Eight colorways: Chocolate, Cobalt, Deep Red, Emerald, Gold AB, Gunmetal, Navy, Rose Gold

Style & Occasion

PS27018 is built for occasions where the dress is supposed to be noticed. It fits naturally into prom, pageant competition, formal evening events, and red-carpet-styled affairs. The open back and high slit make it a strong pageant choice — the silhouette reads "Miss Universe stage" in any of the metallic colorways (Gold AB, Gunmetal, Rose Gold). For prom, Cobalt, Deep Red, and Emerald are consistently popular choices that photograph well under event lighting. Chocolate and Navy read more understated but still dramatic in person due to the glitter base. Pair with a strappy metallic heel to keep the leg line unbroken through the slit. Keep jewelry minimal — a simple drop earring or ear cuff works well with the halter neckline since the open back does the heavy lifting. A small clutch or wristlet is easiest to carry with this silhouette.

Portia and Scarlett
00 /
