faviana-11642
Faviana 11642 Beaded Floral V-Neck Mermaid Gown with Open Back Gown

About the Dress: Faviana 11642

Faviana 11642 is a long beaded mermaid gown built for prom and pageant wear. The bodice and skirt are covered in dense floral appliqués packed with beading and scattered sequin shimmer, sitting on a tulle base. A deep v-neckline and thin spaghetti straps frame the front, while the entire back is left open and bare, dropping well below the waistline. A sweep train finishes the hem. This is a bold, head-turning gown designed for someone who wants maximum impact on the dance floor or the stage.

Fit & Silhouette

Faviana 11642 follows a true mermaid silhouette — the fabric hugs the body closely through the bust, waist, and hips, then flares out below the knee into a trumpet hem. There is no slit. The fit is body-conscious and form-fitting from top to bottom before the flare, so accurate measurements are essential. Faviana's size chart uses bust, waist, and hip measurements. If you fall between sizes, size up and plan for minor alterations at the waist or hem — a common step with fitted mermaid gowns. The open back means there is no boning or structure behind the bodice; the front v-neck and straps hold the gown in place. The stretch in the fabric provides a secure, close fit without feeling rigid.

Fabric & Detail

The base of Faviana 11642 is tulle, which gives the skirt a smooth, fluid drape while keeping the gown lightweight relative to its coverage. Over that base, floral appliqués made from beading and sequin work are layered across both the bodice and the skirt — these cover the dress from top to bottom, creating a fully embellished look. The appliqué shapes are clearly floral in outline, which adds dimension and texture beyond a flat sequin surface. A sweep train extends from the hem at the back, adding length and drama without requiring significant alterations for most heights.

Key Features

True mermaid silhouette with trumpet flare below the knee

Deep v-neckline with thin spaghetti straps

Fully open back, exposed well below the waistline

Dense beaded floral appliqués with sequin shimmer, bodice to hem

Tulle base fabric for lightweight drape

Sweep train at the hem

No visible boning — the straps and fit hold the gown in place

Available in Navy, Cherry, Ink Blue, and Dark Emerald

Style & Occasion

Faviana 11642 is built for prom and high-glamour pageant events. The fully embellished surface, open back, and mermaid silhouette make it a natural fit for prom night when you want the look that stands out in every photo. It also works for pageant competition where over-the-top embellishment and strong stage presence are expected. Navy photographs with a deep, rich tone that reads well under event lighting. Cherry gives a vivid, high-contrast look. Ink Blue sits between navy and cobalt and picks up light with a slightly brighter cast. Dark Emerald reads as a deep jewel tone and is particularly striking under stage lighting. Pair this gown with strappy heeled sandals and minimal jewelry — the beadwork already does the heavy lifting. A delicate ear cuff or simple drop earrings are enough.
